I'm 21, a student, currently studying English Literature at the University of Essex, although I did do two years worth of Pharmacy at Cardiff University before deciding that I hated it and chucking it in. So any Welsh references can be attributed to my two years there.

I'm heavily into traditional music and dance, and belong to Chelmsford Morris, a local team, whose website is linked in my sidebar.

I have other interests too, I like to sew, make greetings cards, paint glass and a host of other crafts, I quite like cooking and I love watching period dramas, especially if it's with my best friend Rachael.

I'm also far too obsessed with Harry Potter than is seemly for someone of my age, especially Remus Lupin, who I may be a little bit in love with. I write a little bit of fanfiction from time to time, mostly R/T, but a bit of Remus-centric gen too.

Above all, I love to read, be it books or fanfic or even just the newspaper or Radio Times. Reading is the hobby that outscores all the others in terms of time spent on it. I cannot survive without something to read!

In terms of friending, my journal is increasingly (though not exclusively) f-locked, but if you comment here when you friend me, I'll almost certainly return the favour. :)
